Injuries?
27.03.2015 by DXS

My mom told me that when I was born, the doctor used forceps (and I was upside down, face down instead of face up like most babies). Well, my head got smashed down to my eyebrows during the delivery. Within 24 hours, my head popped back into place. But, I can't help but wonder if my brain suffered some injury and now I can't connect to my emotions. Is there any way to prove this? Probably not, as I'm looking at age 60 this year. In all other areas, no problem, I made good grades in school, but had social issues.

My other theory is that mom kept "telling" me how to feel. If not a brain injury, then the "telling me how to feel" is a childhood trauma to me.

Similar thing happened to me.

I was induced (4 days early, for convenience apparently). I was refusing to come out so they did the whole forceps thing too. Apparently my noggin had a big lump on it which subsided in the expected amount of time. I then had a few more head injuries as a kid, one significant in my very early years around 2-3 years old I think.

I was born fine. Was always smart, doing special courses. I have knocked myself out a couple of times riding my bmx though. Once for over an hour and 2 times that i know of for at least 15 minutes. Never went to hospital for it.

It really just is something that happens. One of my sisters is nearly as smart as me (my I.Q is over 140) but she is normal and married. Though I think marriage is strange. So it really is a person to person thing.
