Dreams
18.02.2016 by FermiParadox

My dreams are like watching TV with the sound off.
The scenes (always my memories,) are fuzzy and muddled. I can only ever identify whats directly in front of me, like I'm looking through a peephole, and without the accompanying sound, they are devoid of emotion.
I dream about my work a lot. I dream about the ocean, sometimes (I've always lived on the coast.) Mostly, I dream about people who have no faces, walking around in mundane situations... so pretty much my dreams match my reality. It isn't until I wake that any emotion arises. These "emotions" are largely comprised of physical feelings of anxiety and/or some unnamed sad longing I can't rectify. When I think about these reactions, they feel like a leaking faucet or some opening that's obstructed, but liquid is still seeping out. I do not dream every night, or most nights for that matter. My dreaming spells seem to correlate with my hormones. I'm still waiting for those to go away, still have 15-20 yrs to wait for that.

Tell me about your dreams.

HOuses

Wow, my dreams always involve houses and roommates. The houses have some weird configuration that allow me to have roommates but it's never a problem because the configuration of the house allows a lot of privacy.

Apparently dreams about houses represent you and what you are going through.

I wish I could figure out what Fermi's dreams are about, might be helpful!

Dreams? What are they?

I have absolutely no recollection of my dreams. I don't daydream, but neither do I have any memory of dreams I have during the night. Clearly they aren't very interesting.

Dreams giving false information?

Does anyone else have this problem? I don't dream often, but when I do, the dream gives false information. Whenever someone I know is in the dream, the are the opposite of what they are like in real life.

I rarely dream

...and when I do it's always boring. I used to have "nightmares" as a kid, but those were just dreams about the scary dinosaurs I read about during the day. I don't see anything in my dreams, either; I just remember what they were about. E.g ., I once dreamed that I was taking a walk on the beach with my sister.
